Permanent Jewellery - Customer Waiver, Medical Questionnaire and Terms & Conditions
Please read and confirm your understanding of the following safety guidelines and terms & conditions before confirming your appointment. By ticking the 'I Agree' button on your appointment, you acknowledge that you have been informed of our safety measures, terms and conditions and medical questionnaire and agree to adhere to them.
Safety Guidelines:
Pacemakers and Electromagnetic Fields: Working in proximity to equipment that generates strong electromagnetic fields, such as resistance welders or power sources with pulsing magnetic fields, can pose hazards, especially if the pulsing rate matches or is close to the user's pacemaker's pulse rate. If you have a pacemaker, it is not safe to undergo welded jewellery services. Please inform us if you wear a pacemaker so that we can explore alternative options for your jewellery needs. Such as custom jewellery with a clasp added.
Eye Protection: Our welding equipment produces a brief, intense flash that can be harmful to the eyes. We will provide safety welding glasses for your protection during the welding process.
If you have young children or babies present, it is essential to ensure that they wear safety glasses or are removed from the room while welding takes place (typically just a few seconds per weld).
Medical Questionnaire:
Please advise of any of the below health conditions which you have previously had or are currently experiencing:
Pacemaker
Heart Condition
Epilepsy
Terms and Conditions:
Quality Assurance: Our machine operators will conduct inspections to ensure that your jewellery is properly welded before you leave your appointment. If your Permanent Jewellery breaks at the weld spot within one month, we will re-weld it at no charge.
Lost Chains: We regret that we cannot offer replacements, refunds, or discounts for lost
chains due to the personal nature of the wearer's lifestyle, job, and external factors beyond our control.
Minors: With parental consent and accompaniment, we will perform welding services for children aged 13 to 16. Any individual under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an
adult. All young people are responsible for their jewellery once it's on their body. Please
refer to the above terms regarding lost jewellery.
Cleaning and Maintenance: To maintain your Permanent Jewellery's appearance, clean it with warm water and dish soap using an ultra-soft toothbrush, and pat it dry. You may also use the jewellery polishing cloth provided. Your welder may recommend specific cleaning products available for purchase. Your chain does not like harsh cleaning products so ensure you wear gloves when using any products such as bleach.
Active Lifestyles: If you regularly engage in activities such as going to the gym or spending time in chlorine or sea salt, it's essential to clean your jewellery regularly.
Sterling Silver: Sterling silver jewellery naturally oxidizes with air and loses its shine. Use the polishing cloth provided to restore its lustre and remove any dark spots.
Jewellery durability: Permanent Jewellery is not "unbreakable." Exercise caution and care while wearing it, especially with delicate chains. We do not provide free replacements, refunds, or discounts for lost jewellery.
Warranty: While we do not guarantee a lifetime weld, if your jewellery becomes undone
within the first month of the weld, you will receive one free re-weld. Additional welds are
available at a cost of £15.00.
Medical Procedures: If you need to remove your jewellery for medical reasons, such as
surgery or an MRI, please do so carefully at the weld point with a pair of sharp scissors. Bring your jewellery back to us, and we will re-weld it free of charge.
