Meet the maker
Little Attic Jewellery
In 2016, I relocated to the peaceful Irish countryside with my husband and two small children. We settled into the home he grew up in and began building our own family life there — surrounded by fields, quiet skies, and a much slower rhythm than the city life I had known.
Amid the transition, jewellery making found me — or maybe I found it. After two decades in the corporate world, I discovered an unexpected creative outlet in the smallest of spaces: a corner of our home – the Attic that would eventually become my “little attic.” What began as a hobby soon became my sanctuary — a place to slow down, reflect, and create.
Jewellery has always meant more to me than adornment. It's about memory, emotion, and connection — a tangible way to mark precious moments or feel close to someone you love. I believe in jewellery made to last and to keep. Slow-made, sentiment-led, and full of meaning.
While I returned to my corporate job after we settled, I never stopped making. Over the years, my passion deepened. I studied at the Jewellery School of Ireland and later earned a diploma in Fine Jewellery from the Jewellers Academy in London. Along the way, I found an inspiring, mindful community of makers — a stark contrast to the male-dominated corporate world where I often felt unseen and unheard.
Eventually, the pull became too strong to ignore. In October 2024, after years of balancing two lives, I made the leap — leaving my corporate role to follow what truly fulfilled me. Little Attic Jewellery was born out of that choice — a symbol of freedom, healing, and creative purpose.
Today, I handcraft each piece using only recycled metals, ethically sourced gemstones, and eco-friendly packaging. Every design carries intention, a story, and a quiet celebration of individuality.
My hope is that Little Attic Jewellery not only brings beauty into your life but also inspires you to do something each day that makes you feel valued, seen, and deeply satisfied.
